The Transient Hotel. I managed this facility for some time, and lived in private quarters there.
My job was to meet flights that had to remain overnight at Midway, gather their passengers,
bus them to various housing units, then return them to the plane when it was ready to leave.
I housed civilian passengers in rooms of the Transient Hotel. I also met the regular weekly
commercial passenger flight, gave a bus tour to new military personnel, and delivered
them to their new quarters.
