and albatrosses are native to the islands, along with a great variety of other birds.
Gooneys are most amazing... very large, with even larger wingspans (6 to 7 feet).
They are generally friendly and shy, but can inflict a powerful bite in defense. Their mating
dance is impossible to describe, but has to be seen and heard. They inhabite EVERY
portion of the island, often in humourous places.
