Because I've been active in the Libertarian Party since 1996, elections are naturally of importance to me, but they should be of importance to every American. We are a democratic republic, and elections are the primary means we have of controlling our government. If we fail to control government through political elections, we fact the alternative of becoming slaves to that government or having to revolt to regain control.
